A little bit about us....

We really do have the best job in the world, not only do we get to photograph the happiest days of people’s lives, but we also get to do it together! We are sisters and have been doing what we love since 2008. We have always been incredibly close and often don’t even need to speak to each other to know what we are trying to say, some sort of sister telepathy we think!

 

A lot has happened over the years since we both studied photography and digital art. Since starting Heyes Images, we both got married ourselves to our wonderful husbands, Karen to Gerard in 2016 and Carly to Martin, her childhood sweetheart in 2019, and now have both got children of our own, Spencer & Molly, they are just the best, although definitely keep us on our toes, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. 

 

Not only has our family grown, so has our company over the years. Weddings are without doubt our passion, we feel it’s so important to make people feel at ease and both end up getting stuck in on a wedding day, helping anyone who needs it, whether it be helping our brides get into their dresses or grooms with their buttonholes and kilt shoes, it’s all part of our job. It’s equally important for us to capture every part of your special day in a relaxed way. Making sure our couples and their guests feel at ease, whilst still achieving breathtaking images of your wedding day.

 

Family, newborn and portrait photography is also a big part of what we do, usually we end up seeing our couples at many stages of their lives, as they often come back to us for newborn and then family portraits further down the line, which we adore.

 

We are based in Houston & Bishopton, but travel all over Scotland and beyond to do what we love. We have photographed over 600 weddings since we started and love every one of them, we just want you to relax and enjoy your day, whilst we capture it all for you.
